1. Believers abiding in Christ, eagerly await his return. (2:28-29)

2.  Upon Christ’s return, believers will receive a resurrection body. (2:1-2)

3.  Believers await the return of Christ in righteousness and unity.  (3:3-10)

APPLICATION QUESTIONS

1. What could cause a believer in Christ to shrink back at his return?

2.  What happens to the bodies of believers who are alive when Christ returns?
