It has been my privilege to serve as pastor of Soldier Creek Baptist Church for 27 years. I am active in the Capital Baptist Association and I have served as a volunteer chaplain for the Midwest City Fire Department for 16 years.  I have 34 years experience as a pastor.

Family:      Linda and I will have been married for 38yrs. on March 28^th.

Children:    Charles, Jamie, Patrick, and Heather.

Jane writes:: I have been blessed to be involved in a variety of ministries at Soldier Creek Baptist Church. I have a great bunch of co-workers (both employees and volunteers). They are all part of my family and I have been blessed by them and their support through the years. There is never a dull moment and if I feel one coming on, a new adventure pops up and throws me back into the excitement of church work. I am thankful God has given me the opportunity to serve Him, His Church and His People.

Linda Stewart

Minister of Education

Linda joined the staff of Soldier Creek in December, 1975. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master’s of Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Seminary.  Linda collects Coca-Cola memorabilia and enjoys antique shops.  She is known as “yo-yo’ when she clowns with the church clown troupe. Linda will soon add other interests as she adds another name, “
Grami” as she becomes a grandmother later this year.

SUE CAME TO SOLDIER CREEK IN SEPTEMBER OF 2000. SHE IS THE PRESCHOOL AND CHILDREN DIRECTOR ALONG WITH BEING THE DIRECTOR OF OUR WEEKDAY PROGRAM. SHE HAS HAD MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN WEEKDAY PROGRAMS. SHE IS MARRIED TO CHUCK AND THEY HAVE TWO MARRIED DAUGHTERS, MELISSA TO BRAD AND MARCY TO MATT. SHE AND CHUCK HAVE 3 WONDERFUL GRANDCHILDREN, SKYLAR, LANDRY AND MATTHEW.
